Wide wool felt strips (5 cm) are visibly woven into a rug. All this with an aesthetic, handcrafted look. What is special here is the overlapping of the 5 mm thick wool felt strips created by the weaving. This results in a thickness of 10 mm in places. A rug like a bed. Simply heavenly! Can be beautifully combined with the "Teppichgeflecht 10" rug, which is similar except for the wider strips. Dimensions: 70 x 200 (W x L cm); 140 x 200 (W x L cm); 180 x 240 (W x L cm). Wool felt thickness: 5 mm. Special sizes available on request. Important: All Hey-Sign carpets are individually configurable products. They are therefore excluded from cancellation! For very slippery floors, we recommend our anti-slip grid. The carpets are also suitable for use with underfloor heating.
Carpet made of natural fiber – pure new wool processed into wool felt
The wool felt processed by Hey-Sign in Meerbusch is an absolute top-quality product and comes from a renowned manufacturer in Offingen, Bavaria. This wool felt provides excellent insulation, so even old buildings are no longer cold underfoot. Wool felt is also flame-retardant and stores humidity, which it then releases again. This type of carpet therefore has a positive influence on the indoor climate. Incidentally, processing virgin wool under pressure, mechanical treatment, and moist heat to create a dense fabric is one of the oldest methods of textile production, which was already used by the ancient Greeks.
Hey-Sign – designer eco-friendly carpets with organic stain protection
We offer this carpet in around 50 different colors. This makes it stand out wonderfully in design from most carpets made of virgin wool, which are often found in the building biology range. In addition, this carpet is naturally stain-resistant. This is due to the natural wool grease contained in the felt. Liquids do not penetrate easily, and if something does happen, stains can be easily rubbed out by hand with a moisturizing agent. Please follow the care instructions.
