Romba cuckoo clock: Kubus CU34H with deer head
Cuckoo clocks have been experiencing a real revival in recent years. And the trend shows no sign of abating. In Schonach in the Black Forest, we discovered a cuckoo clock manufacturer that skillfully combines this traditional craft with modern design. Even the Chancellor gives cuckoo clocks as gifts from time to time.
Schonach//Black Forest.
A completely analog morning ritual that Black Forest residents are very familiar with is winding the cuckoo clock. Depending on the movement installed, this model needs to be wound daily or only weekly. You can order the clock with either a "1-day movement" (CU14) or an "8-day movement" (CU34).
The cuckoo is in the cube and the deer is on top
This model is wonderfully minimalist, but with a small break in the form of a deer head attached to the outside. It is, so to speak, the straight Bauhaus version with a slight touch of country charm. A Bauhaus-Black Forest clash, so to speak. Available in the color combinations white/black/red (case/deer head/antlers) or black/gold/silver (case/deer head/antlers). And for those who prefer a completely clean look, we also offer this clock without the deer head.
Black Forest cuckoo clock: Beautiful, warm cuckoo call
The cuckoo call itself is warm and beautiful and radiates a calming atmosphere. If you don't want to hear it, it can be turned off using an elegant lever at the bottom of the case. Otherwise, the cuckoo calls every half hour with a "cuckoo," and every hour on the hour it announces the specific time, so 8 or 8 p.m. means eight "cuckoo" calls.
